Day 1 – Antananarivo
Arrival in Antananarivo. Welcome and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2 – Antananarivo → Antsirabe → Miandrivazo
Early departure to discover the Malagasy highlands, their rice paddies, and traditional villages.
Ambatolampy: Visit to an aluminum factory and local shops.
Arrival in Antsirabe: Ride by cyclo-rickshaw through artisans’ workshops and discover typical products.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Continue to Miandrivazo with spectacular views.
Dinner and overnight stay in Miandrivazo.
Day 3 – Miandrivazo → Masiakampy → Descent of the Tsiribihina River
Observation de la vie quotidienne le long du fleuve, des villages et de la faune aquatique.
Anosin’Ampela Waterfall: a refreshing swim and panoramic view. Camp on the riverbank, enjoy an aperitif and music around the campfire.
Overnight under the stars in a tent.
Day 4 – Second day of cruising on the Tsiribihina River
Cruising between cliffs, gallery forests, and local wildlife.
Visit to the Sakalava village of Begidro: discover local culture and traditions.
Observe the first majestic baobab trees.
Camp at Ambatomisay with an evening of music and drinks with the villagers.
Day 5 – Last day of cruising → Bekopaka
Last morning cruising among the baobabs and riverside forests.
Arrival in Belo-sur-Tsiribihina and lunch at a local restaurant.
Transfer by 4×4 to Bekopaka (4-5 hours), crossing the savannah, past solitary baobab trees, and through isolated villages.
Overnight in a lodge or bungalow in Bekopaka.
Day 6 – Exploring the Tsingy of Bemaraha
Visit the stone forests, the Manambolo Cave, and the suspension bridge.
Guided hikes amidst unique rock formations and breathtaking landscapes.
Overnight in Bekopaka.
Day 7 – Bekopaka → Sacred Baobab → Baobab of Lovers → Route of the Baobabs
Hike along the famous Route of the Baobabs, discovering centuries-old baobab trees.
Panoramic views and photos of Madagascar’s most iconic sites.
Day 8 – Morondava → Antsirabe
Return to Antsirabe with stops to admire the scenery.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 – Antsirabe → Antananarivo → Flight to Nosy Be
Transfer to Antananarivo and domestic flight to Nosy Be.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Days 10 to 13 – Excursions in Nosy Be
Daily excursions to the most beautiful islands and beaches:
Nosy Iranja: white sand and lemurs (camping available).
Nosy Komba, Nosy Tanikely, Ambario Fasy: snorkeling and nature exploration.
Nosy Sakatia and Nosy Fanihy: sea turtles and relaxation.
Exploring Nosy Be: culture, markets, waterfalls, and Mount Passot.
Optional activities: whale and whale shark watching, scuba diving, catamaran cruises, quad biking, or tuk-tuk rides.
Day 14 – Flight to Italy
Transfer to the airport and departure.
End of trip.
